Dr. Stefan H. Fischhuber
Dr. Stefan H. Fischhuber is Managing Director of Kienbaum Executive Consultants GmbH. In addition to his management responsibilities in the executive search / HR consultancy business of the Kienbaum Group, he provides consultancy support for the staffing of supervisory and executive board positions as well as top management roles. His focus areas include helping corporate and family businesses as well as service providers and private equity firms review and optimize their leadership teams.
Before joining Kienbaum, Dr. Fischhuber was Managing Partner at Heidrick & Struggles, where his responsibilities included the company’s industrial activities in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Previously, he had spent more than five years as a Consultant and Principal with Egon Zehnder International, with direct responsibility for the industrial practice team. Since 1998, Dr. Fischhuber has been working as an Executive Search / HR consultant, and has successfully staffed numerous top management positions and conducted a substantial number of management audit projects.
Before moving into the consultancy business, Dr. Fischhuber gained eight years of industry experience at Krupp-Hoesch (today’s ThyssenKrupp). After the merger of Krupp and Hoesch, he took over managerial responsibility for a department of the group’s headquarter as a member of the leadership team of Fried. Krupp AG Hoesch-Krupp.
Dr. Fischhuber completed his industrial engineering studies at the University of Kaiserslautern, before gaining his doctorate from the University of Siegen. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and Engineering as well as a PhD in Engineering.
